Northwest Missouri State University is inviting its community to attend the annual Northwest Night hosted by the St. Joseph Mustangs at Phil Welch Stadium. The event, a tradition since 2011, will take place on Saturday, May 31, with a game between the St. Joseph Mustangs and the Nevada Griffons starting at 7 p.m.

Mike Johnson, a Northwest alumnus and vice president of university advancement, will throw the ceremonial first pitch. Elizabeth Geier Cline, also an alumna and alumni relations specialist at the university, is set to perform the national anthem.

Attendees can enjoy fireworks after the game and interact with Disney's Stitch during promotional activities. The Northwest Alumni Association will distribute free general admission tickets on a first-come, first-served basis from 5 to 7 p.m. outside the stadium.

For further details about ticket purchases or event information, interested parties are encouraged to contact the Northwest Alumni Association at 660.562.1248.
