Northwest Missouri State University, in partnership with BioSTL, will host the 2025 AgTech Innovation Showcase to bring together farmers and innovators in the agriculture industry. The event is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Northwest’s Agricultural Learning Center located at 22893 U.S. Highway 71 in Maryville.
BioSTL is a nonprofit organization based in St. Louis that was established in 2001. It provides programs aimed at addressing challenges in sectors such as agriculture, medicine, health care, and technology. Its Early Adopter Grower Innovation Community (EAGIC) program connects agricultural innovations with farmers by leveraging both domestic and international networks.
The showcase will include speakers who will discuss topics such as AI-enabled and data-driven farm tools, solutions for biologicals, fertilizers and soil health, equipment and farm input innovations, and animal science technologies. Lunch will be provided to attendees at no cost.
The School of Agricultural Sciences at Northwest Missouri State University operates out of the Dean L. Hubbard Center for Innovation on the university’s Maryville campus. The school offers academic programs including agriculture business, education, media, science, agronomy, and animal science.
The Agricultural Learning Center is a multipurpose facility covering 29,500 square feet that opened in 2021. It supports curriculum development while providing infrastructure for Wright Farm—a 448-acre property used for livestock operations involving beef cattle, swine, dairy cows, sheep as well as crop production.
