2021 has 3.3% of Livingston County residents unemployed

Livingston County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 220 people out of the 15,001 living in Livingston County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Livingston County has increased compared to the 2.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Livingston County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.5%.

Of the 6,500 people who had a job during that time, 27 were employed in the Armed Forces and 6,473 belonged to the civilian labor force.
