Northwest Missouri State University has outlined the procedures for students to return textbooks and laptops as the spring semester comes to a close. Students are encouraged to utilize the various options provided by the university.

According to the university's announcement, students can return textbooks and laptops by visiting the Northwest campus in Maryville or the Northwest-Kansas City in Gladstone. Textbook shipping is also available for students who are unable to return their books in person.

A spokesperson for Northwest emphasized the institution's commitment to providing students with access to an affordable education. They stated, "Northwest provides laptops and textbooks to students as part of their tuition, ensuring all students have access to the tools they need to be successful in the classroom."

For students returning textbooks, specific instructions have been provided. Textbooks must be returned by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 26. Any textbooks returned after May 3 will incur a late fee of $50. Replacement costs will also be charged for textbooks not returned.

Regarding the return of laptops, students are advised to return them by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 3. Any laptops returned after this date will be subject to a non-returned laptop charge of $1,500. The university has also outlined the process for students who need to have their laptops repaired.

Additionally, students have the option to pick up summer textbooks during regular business hours at the Textbook Services office. Summer textbooks must be returned by Friday, August 9, to avoid late fees. Replacement costs will be charged for any textbooks not returned.

Students who are not returning to Northwest for the fall semester are required to return their laptops and accessories. Failure to do so by May 3 will result in a non-returned laptop charge. However, students who are pre-registered for fall courses and maintain pre-registration during the summer can keep their laptops.

In conclusion, Northwest Missouri State University has provided clear guidelines for students to return spring textbooks and laptops, as well as pick up summer textbooks. Students are encouraged to adhere to the specified deadlines and procedures to avoid any additional fees or charges.
