Northwest Missouri State University's Faculty Senate recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and honored outstanding staff members with Meritorious Awards. Dr. Rhonda Beemer, the current president of the Faculty Senate, expressed her pride in being part of the organization, stating, "It is truly an honor to participate in Faculty Senate." She emphasized the importance of fair representation and encouraged more faculty members to get involved in various committees.
The event also recognized the exceptional contributions of three staff members with Meritorious Awards. Mike Grudzinski, a video and web conference specialist, was commended for his dedication to enhancing online learning experiences. Dr. Clarence Green, the vice president of culture, received accolades for his exemplary leadership and valuable contributions to the university community. Dr. Greg Haddock, the associate provost of graduate and professional schools, was acknowledged for his commitment to supporting academic programs and advocating for diversity and inclusivity.
