The Northwest campus in Maryville will close on Tuesday, February 18, from 6 a.m. until noon due to weather conditions. Online classes will proceed as planned, while on-ground classes are set to resume at 12:30 p.m.

University activities have been canceled, and all Northwest facilities will remain closed until noon. However, residence halls, The Station, and the J.W. Jones Student Union will stay open. Dining areas within these facilities will maintain their normal operating hours.

Northwest advises students and employees to monitor weather conditions for safety purposes. They should be vigilant about their surroundings and take necessary precautions. Students are encouraged to communicate with instructors, and employees should reach out to supervisors regarding their ability to travel safely to campus.

With snow and extreme cold temperatures expected this week, Northwest will continue updating the campus community about its operational status through email and Bearcat Alert text messaging.

The Northwest community and local residents can stay informed about current weather conditions and campus operations by following designated channels or accessing additional information online.
