Northwest Missouri State University is inviting its community to participate in MIAA Night at Kauffman Stadium. The event will take place on Saturday, April 26, when the Kansas City Royals face off against the Houston Astros. The game is set to begin at 6:10 p.m.

Duane Havard, Northwest Director of Alumni Relations, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “It is always a fun event with the Royals and great to see the support for this day from all of the MIAA schools.” He noted that in 2024, over 400 members of the Northwest family attended to support the Royals and display their Bearcat pride. Attendees are encouraged to wear green.

Tickets for MIAA Night are priced at $37.50 each. This price includes a processing fee and a $1 donation. Seating will be available in the upper deck on the left field side. Tickets will be distributed electronically; there will be no printed tickets.

Parking must also be purchased ahead of time, with discounted rates available for Northwest alumni and friends who buy game tickets.

Fans attending have an opportunity to receive a Northwest-themed bucket hat with their ticket purchase.

On game day, from 4 to 6 p.m., a table hosted by the Northwest Alumni Association will be set up inside Gate A. Alumni and friends can visit this table to receive a free promotional item before entering the stadium.

For further details, individuals can contact the Northwest Alumni Association at 660.562.1248 or via email.
