Northwest Missouri State University adjusts recycling center hours for holidays

Northwest Missouri State University has announced changes to the operating hours of its Recycling Center during the upcoming holiday season. The center, situated at the 1100 block of Icon Road, will adjust its schedule in observance of Thanksgiving and winter breaks.

The Recycling Center will be closed from Wednesday, November 27, through Saturday, November 30. Normal operations will resume on Monday, December 2.

In December, the center will again alter its schedule. It will close from Saturday, December 21, through Thursday, December 26. To accommodate post-Christmas recycling needs, it will open on Friday, December 27, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., before closing once more from Saturday, December 28, through Wednesday, January 1. Regular hours are set to resume on Thursday, January 2.

Typically, the Recycling Center is available to the public from Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
