Board of Regents to hold regular and work sessions on March 20

Northwest Missouri State University's Board of Regents is scheduled to convene on Thursday, March 20, at the J.W. Jones Student Union Boardroom located on the University’s Maryville campus.

The regular session will commence at 1 p.m., with a tentative agenda available for review. Before this, a work session is planned for 10 a.m., also with an accessible tentative agenda.

During the regular session, the board plans to vote on closing part of the meeting in accordance with R.S. Mo 610.021. Following any closed sessions, there may be an opportunity for the board to reconvene in an open session to address old business or introduce new topics as deemed necessary by individual members.

The Board of Regents holds responsibility for ensuring sound resource management and setting general, educational, and financial policies for the university.
